i am skiming my hall way,im puting first and second coat on then flatening it when firmed up but its blistering is it cos im work it to hard to get it flat should i be geting it flater on second coat when mix is wet so that i dont have to do much when i come to flaten it,will that stop the blistering

it could be loads of reasons mate .....laying on too heavy, poorly floated background, air getting into the plaster, no suction, too much suction ;D.........if youre doing a reskim you should wait for thr first coat to pick up before you second coat
what is the background mate and are you using gypbondit/pva?

lath and plaster house been emty for 6 months so was cold i had to strip two layers of wall paper off any ideas cos walls do not look good had to use fat in some places it was that bad

you shouldnt have to be using fat anywhere really mate if youre struggling because the walls are really bad straighten them first or three coat them, the first trowel is the most important this is where youre filling all the hollows if youre using water after this then it will be fatty, leave a bit of fresh gear on the spot/bucket and use this for filling hollows after the first trowel

i reckon it could be trace of wallpaper paste left on the wall from the wallpaper u took off. i always wash down the walls if they have had wallpaper removed with a wet sponge then put pva on. should be fine
