hi im rendering and tryoleaning a house at the minute and the customer has asked if i can tryolean the dormer which are just ply at the moment is it ok to get a cement base board and screw that up and tryolean on to that ? and just put skim beads on the edge ?

Gainsborough only down the road from hemswell flynnyman good carboot like you say I have had some good gear off there , it's the
kind of boot you would find m. tec for sale LOL.

and would you say hardibacker boards or some other type?

use aquapanel exterior, then i would use a modified render and mesh just to make sure, use mesh wing angle if you can get it and 6mm plastics stops, finish your aquapanel about 25-30mm above the led and then let your stops down a further five mill or so to form a drip and disguise the edge of the panel, then Tyro

i would use a render too with mesh just a tight coat the boarding might have joints in it somewhere so the mesh will take care of that

If the leads already up I'd go for the 3mm bead base coat and mesh over the rest of the lead b/c and mesh the joints and tryolean over the rest and cover up anything you don't want tyro leaned

Did this porch a while ago with Tyrolean onto cement board with thin coat beads, to try and match in with the existing house. The Tyrolean can shrink round the beads, so knock some up before hand slightly stiffer and build your beads out then gun away as normal.
