Been using mine last few days after wet trowel as seems to finish it easier then with steel.
Anyway as you all know you get them scratches . I.ve seen em before and never see em once it's been painted. Cant even feel em. But wondered if they show when suns down wall . Took couple of pics . The camera shows a lot of grit in one pic I couldnt see with eye. Wall lights on this wall as well

I dint think ull see them but dont you take the grit out? Or get it on thicker?

Rub the edge of blade in circular motions on a plaster board before you trowel make's the blade flawless
 
To be fair I couldnt see the grit until I looked at the pic. But I done a good job getting a pic of the scratches
 
Funny as I watched a programme with titchmarsh in other night and never knew chilles grew like that

Even the pissiest mist coat would hide most of them i reckon

Two coats more on top too.


As above plasterboard works to hone the edge.
I found the finest sandpaper (800 grit upwards), and a couple of steady strokes along sorts it. Slowly does it, too fast and it can melt/chew it.

Wet n dry sandpaper sorts plastic towels out..f**k knows what grade it is but its black..not in a racist way tho

Yes mate, black/dark grey paper, smoother the better on them plastics.
High grit is a bit specialist, harder to source.

It should say grit number on the back of the paper.
