Afternoon Everyone,

Just to all let you know that the NELA Trowels are now back in stock.

We have also added the 11" s*p*r*lex and 18" s*p*r*lex to the Range.

After my meeting with NELA in Germany we have now been given the UK Exclusivity on these trowels, so thank you to all those who have supported us on the launch of these trowels and to all those who have given Feedback. All the feedback has been passed back to Germany and we will work closely to improve the product if required each time. Our aim along with NELA is to increase the quality of the product over time and not allow things to slip. Proving that NELA can achieve the status of market leaders.

Alongside this we have also been working hard with Colleges. We now have a few purchasing the trowels from us. This is to ensure that the students can learn with a new top of the range product at an affordable price.

We have also spoken with many Plastering shops across the UK and we are setting up Sub - Dealers so the trowels are more accessible for you guys and you can also get a 'hands on' feel for them instead of just relying on internet reviews.

We can confirm that our first stockist is GoldTrowel, who is also a sponsor on the forum. If anyone is in the area please pop in and meet Andy and his team.
Other Sub-Dealers will be confirmed shortly.

During my time in Germany with NELA we also discussed other products which would be great for the UK market. We are pleased to announce that we will soon have the following items available:

NELA Venetian Trowels - Hawks / Handboards - Bucket Trowels - Pipe Trowels - Corner Trowels - Pipe Trowels and another product which is top secret and we are working very hard on this:RpS_thumbup:

If you can think of any other products which would be good to add to the range please let me know and I will see what we can offer.

Another deal we have struck with NELA is the manufacture of BESPOKE Trowels, if you have a certain size of trowel you would like, e.g 20" x 4.2" we can make this for you. There will be no added charges for this, it will just take slightly longer to send over as it will come with our stock orders.

Hi @Hutton, the standard size for the premium Trowels is: 14" x 4.3" Is this what you are looking for or a 4" width.

If it is the 4" Width please give me a call on 01242 236699 and I will take down all your info and get something arranged.

I would be interested in seeing whats on offer from Nela.. as their product is 1st class.. funnily enough, i was thinking today why dont Nela manufacture other plastering tools... great idea... second day with the standard and s/f today, and think they are quality..
 
Bespoke sounds good if it's not a premium price lol.
I find my trowels are more useful when they get narrower with age :)
 
Using my standard nela today , good trowel . Abit renderin internal today and a decent size dashing job next week . Hoping it will be getting there by then (nicely worn in) lovely trowel to use and lays skim on nice and flat . Non of this permashape crap that i have been using ..... Cant wait for it to be fully worn in !
 
Yeah awesome trowels just think its gonna take awhile before its worn in, will b lovely when it is

Thanks for your comment.

We do advise just getting a bit of wet and dry on the edge of the Premiums or even get the Trowel onto your stone. It is classed as ready to use but a little extra TLC on the edges will speed up the process of being able to use it as a finishing trowel.

I will talk to NELA and try and get the edges slightly smoother in the future.
 
If u could that would b great, let me kno please as i am looking to order more but if nela can do this i might hold out till then

Not mate we don't unfortunately. Might be the next item we bring in though ;-)

Sounds great.look forward to the venetian trowels. Maybe nela could work with brit gypsum and solve their bag problem.

Bag problem. More like a glue problem by the sounds of it. maybe its pretty strong smelling glue and the guys at bg get a bit carried away with it :RpS_laugh:

Being a Nela virgin , I look forward to receiving my 3 trowels on Monday Ryan :RpS_biggrin: Will review them in some way for you on here.
On that note i have came to the conclusion that either i like shiny things too much, Or coming on this forum is an expensive pastime .
 
Might b worth having a word with nela, c will they invent a trowel box to store them safely?
