new bonding protest

They say on the bag ,"easyier to spread " i didnt know the old stuff was hard to spread ???, i think your just paying more for less of a product.
 
well in the painting world its all garn tits up 2 with new laws on input the chemicals have changed o oil based paint.. now when apply dulux undercoat it goes on like gloss takes about 3 days to dry and still looks skinny? what use is this when you want 2 undercoat one day and gloss the next? so maybe it more a change in laws then they wanting to improve a product?

Use acrylic undercoat then & you can gloss it the same day if you want ;)
Or zinsseer the red tin dries in minutes it's shellac based,
bare wood to glossed in no time ;)
 
What I want to know is, are we

mate that finish is crap.. if that was true they wouldn't use oil based on site? if u use that method in never gives half the effect and quality oil based does..

Trust me ;)

Acrylic & one coat gloss does same effect mate. ;D
I'm not talking about on site anyway I'm saying the type of work you are doing & if you want to be in & out in a day on a domestic/insurance work/ council etc etc..
Little tip that's all.
Up to you if you wanna go back next day though mate!
Painters cut corners on site aswell too you know ;)

I didn't know you were working on site as a painter now oasis?? ::)

I don't mind painting my own plastering there's never any filling ;D
