that'll look tidy when its done trowel i like doing stuff like that

doing it on day rate.......... na didn't board it, a friend of mine did it... looks ok in the photo, but its not to clever. i pointed a few things out to the customer about the boarding and he said just do your best.

allways get funny looks when taking pics of walls

It's worse when u have to set self-timer on your mobile phone camera to take NVQ portfolio picks of yourself working. Customer must think I'm a right poser!!!

blimey ! angle galore there . bet it will look good when its done though il look forward to seing the pics ,

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
im am almost speechless!

almost...

but ive just got to ask...

just how..

or more importantly...

why????

was that at the customers request??

that has got to be the maddest bit of joinery / boarding ive ever set eyes on in my life!

ive done some silly angles before today on attic trusses with valleys but that one absolutely without any doubt whatsoever takes the foxes biscuit!!
:o :o :o

does look nice and neat...
cant help but wonder how the addict got on with that inch wide strip... prolly a set on its own!
hope to god it wasnt price work! 8)

The end result does look pretty sweet mate, but have to agree with Chris W... WHY???
Absolute joinery and pboarding madness! Ha!
??? :o ::)

yeah for all the arkward area's and the small strips i used a small brickys trowel or a pointing trowel..... worked a treat

yeah..... i didnt even see the job until the first day...... and thats what i was thinking '' madness''. it took me 2 days to fit the beads. ha

new job

this part of the job was probably the hardest thing ive ever had to skim...... trying to trowel up the area right at the top was a nightmare.

also oasis do u like were i used the decorators caulk ha ha

that joiner wants bleedin shooting!

door could easily have come over a foot, straighten this side up, bung a door liner in and they could have had a door on it! I'd love to see someone knock a door up for that hole!

and what's with the sole plate being an inch wider than the rest of the studwork?

and i notice from the other pics theres a step up into the new room... but its 2 feet INSIDE the new room? how thick are those outside walls?

is the blokes name Jack by any chance?
