spread from bristol 20 years exsp fully qualifyed city and guilds 2&3 time served not like all these x amount of weeks training and im a spread i think it makes a mockery of true tradesmen

In the trade now, is those that can and those who think they can. So there is the problem.
 
I agree mate, I've only been in the game about eight years and there's always something new to learn or a trick to pick up. It takes a long time to get on the trowel if you learn from quality gang, so how you can become a spread in six weeks is beyond me.
