Might have been done to death but...I tried the spat for the first time ever today and it's f6cking awesome. (One of the new ones with blue handles)

Laid gear down with the normal trowel, then just used spat and plazzi to flatten and finish.
As good as any walls I've ever skimmed, with plenty of 'sit down' time lol! I'm confident I could get way more on than usual, using these babys.

Deffo the way forward for me.

...just thought I'd say....

Gary I have a touch more class. I put a rubble bag in the bucket first.

A lad we used to use to do our rip outs told us he was on one of our jobs with no bog no buckets and no bags. so he took a piece of stripped wallpaper upstairs and squatted over it but in his words 'you know when you have a s**t. You HAVE to have a piss. It was going everywhere' :RpS_lol:

For,crappin in a plaster bag.that was my first day in building lesson no1.nowadays keep lots of carrier bags in the van just in case, line a bucket with one and sit comfortably in the back of the van.always have bog roll in the van too.
