Just back from my lads first training of the season. Cant wait for the first match. U8's is a great age for football.

I know what you mean. Some take ever match to heart. Although at this age it's non competitive.

It's the FA mini soccer rules mate. Until U9 they can't keep score.

To any fathers out there please heed this warning cos i have seen countless kids, really talented kids, put off footy because of their parents behaviour with them and at games. Remember it is kids football and not the F'ing champs league with squillions at stake and the kids need to enjoy it or they will loose all interest. I know of at least two lads who have walked away from really good opportunities with TOP CLUBS because their dads had ruined footy for them.
