Will 6x3 plasterboard fit in the new shape fiat doblo. 2010-2015 model.

As in...slide in on their side.

just. 1820. they do a maxi that would easy do. had a doblo for a few months a few years back when the transit packed in. emergency replacement. it was alright.

Yeh I have looked at the specs but it's very close to the limit isn't it. Just thought I'd see if anyone had one and knew for sure. Going to look at one at the weekend...will just have to take a plasterboard with me!

That's bloody expensive for plasterboard! Just buy a tape for £3:00, I'm assured that 2.4 metre plasterboards are all the same length unless you cut them.

Would you recommend blue grit on the board or Pva?

If someone tells me they don't fit...then I won't look at the van anyway.

My plaster boards only cost me £2.90

Small vans...yes, as a large van won't fit between the pillars on my driveway...meaning I'd have to park on the road and leave the van and my tools vulnerable.

Nobody clearly knows if they fit so thanks anyway

The load compartment length on the standard van is 1820 but the maxi van load compartment length is 2170mm.
I had a fiat scudo years ago get 6x3's in easy & not a big van.

I would knock the pillars out and buy a van you can work from easily.

Just cut the board in half and bond it back together with blue tack or measure the back of the van duh brain.

What is your opening? A doblo is 1.71mm wide and a toyota hiace is 1.8mm

Buy a camper van with a roof rack. The pillars won't be an issue then.

BTW, as an example a Vivaro is only 190mm wider than a Doblo so unless you're the thinest bloke in the world if you can get out of a Doblo you can get out of a van.

I've hired one for a bit and they do go in
If empty you can stack them up on the top of the bulkhead and slide them up I got 12 in bug honestly the vans are s**t

Wonder if any of you would be interested in this van, she's a 55 plate, was a cat d previously, I bought it repaired 3.5 yrs ago. She ain't gonna win any beauty contest but she's reliable, lez compliant. New clutch 12 months ago. 2 chip on windshield, electric windows and mirrors, central locking, V5 present, Mot 10/15, only one key, spare wheel. Looking to get £900
