Newbie question regarding measuring

Hi i know this may sound a little dumb but say if i am measuring a wall to plaster ,say it is 10ft high by 10ft wide that would be 3m x 3m right which would be 9m2 ? would 1 bag of 25gk coat that wall for a first coat ?

Yes if you're skimming it, you need 3 bags if you're roughing it.
