Hi guys I've got 5 new builds to render in pral m we have done mostly same day scrapes up until now but this time of year I think that's outta the question.

My question is what temp can it drop down to overnight while the gear is still wet? And does it matter if we get any kinda light rain on it?

I've heard just damp n mist can affect the colour but don't know how true it is.

We went and done the course at flitwick a while ago but can't remember much of that now

If it gets wet it will likely limebloom,a small amount shouldn't be to bad,I had one with weber once where the lab knocked a bucket over on the scaffold over the render, when it was scraped it was fine,i worry more about it getting wet within 12/24 hours after it's been scraped.the temp is supposed to be 5degrees min, even if the weather man tells you it will be 5degrees tonight you can't gu it,I did one recently and it went down to 3ish both nights.i wouldn't want it to go down much more that, have you considered using accelerators?

No haven't thought about accelerators not really confident enough with the stuff yet. Would it mean same day scrape?

Yes it would mean same day scrape,I haven't used accelerators myself on mono only on s&c but it's been mentioned on here quite a bit and I think a few of the lads here do take that route,I'm sure they will be along soon and can give you more info.:RpS_thumbup:

Is it something weber make I found one but it says it's not for finished elevations and not for machine use

Tuesday here is 7 in the day and dropping to 1 in the night Wednesday is 8 in the day and 6 at night but rain forecast for Thursday so was planning to do a bit Tuesday and scrape it Wednesday but will that be too cold at night?

Spray late 3 to 5. Scrape early 7am 2 wet passes.
You get the odd bit a tad harder than u like but nothing to worry of.

I'm sitting at a job now, I shaved the skin off to let it breath I am now sat in the van waiting but it was cold last night

It was suppose to be 4 but it more like 1 at one stage. Yesterday it was about 7 when we applied. I'm going back up now

Just bang it on in afternoon as jfe says in 2 passes and you will be ok.If there is no minus temps forecast you will be ok and a bit of rail will do no harm just make sure there is temperary down spouts fitted if they have been removed.

I like what I'm hearing there!

Would you guys avoid spraying on a dry day and rubbing up next morning if light showers are forecast?

if there is a descent size soffit and no much wind it will be fine, bad combo rain and high wind.
