NHL render

Hi all. I have been tasked with a externally rendering a few small areas using an NHL and sharp sand mix.

Builder has specified



Mortar Mix: NHL3.5, 1 parts lime:2 parts sharp sand

Thickness: Scratch coat 8-10mm. Float coat 8-10mm. Top coat: 5-6mm.

Have never used this product before (builder is aware). Any advice for me? I have done a fair bit of external rendering.
