Putting in a short run of land drain behind the stables. Can't have Dobbin's slippers getting wet.

We'll be working on the interior refurbished soon. Meeting with the conservation officer next week, then @Nisus is going on his lime plastering course. :-)

They had a 'builder' round to quote who suggested overboard and skim on the ceilings. The conservation officer was going to put a contract out on him. :-)
 
Fairly hard graft at some points, but working in the countryside on a sunny day I couldn't be any more chilled out if I'd been on the 'erb all day. :-)

Energy sapping grafting with the sun on. When i first left school thats all i did was dig trenches for pipes, and cables. Back breaking, but i enjoyed it.
