I usually buy dewalt pz2 in a box from ebay but I aint convinced they are the best. What bits do lads use and where is the cheapest place 2get em

I've always used Dewalt Drywall bits (importexd from US) but have noticed that they don't seem to be lasting as long recently, they keep shattering when using them in the impact driver.

Tend to use Concept screws for most other stuff so use the bit they supply and don't have any problems with them.

I use the Wera bits designed for impact drivers.
The ones in the screw box don't last 5 mins in an impact driver.

yeas u can their crap.....makita by far better kirk...senco aint got power to even put high thread screws into oak my man.........makita can easily

I got some of them bits from screw fix with little hood on them which acts as a depth stop, but they did nt last long at all.
Just use the ones in the box now.

Senco or Makita? I was working the other year with 2 gangs of dryliners, one gang had Makita and the other Hilti, the Hilti never missed a beat, fantastic! The Makita seemed to stumble on sinking screws and jamming. Now wether it's the user or the drill I don't know, but I'm Makita mad and I bought the Senco, as I couldn't warrant spending £400 on a Hilti I wouldn't use everyday, and it's been an excellent tool!
