SANDING, Im out in Oz and had some plaster i was told was the same as our stuff back home.

Basically i have kept on with it and the finish is shite, i need to sand prob half of the work i have done, 100m or so i reckon

In normal light it is fine and the client runs hand over and loves it but when i stick a light down it, you know the score CRAP.

The plaster is fekking horrible to use and just tears and bubbles

I have never had to sand my work before and im very ****** off about it but as its for a builder and he owes me alot of cash i wont to leave it as good as possible.

Whats the best paper to use for sanding plaster then??

I presume i will need a medium coarse and then a fine??

My plastering career in oz is over, i have had the worst fortnight of me plastering life.

Should have sacked the job off after the first fekking mix but now im in it for 2 weeks. and need paying

if its the white finish they use over there it is lime based and before trowlling it need floating up with a wooden float to bring the fat up thats what we did over there if its the same stuff but it was quite difficult to work with

I would say 80grade then 120grade.Not that I've ever ever had to do it though!! :rolleyes)

120 grade and easifill mate, dont worry mate Spanish plasters have been the downfall of many a cocky Brit plaster, i told you before Placo finish orMP.

used placo on it, old as and taking 5 hrs to set and is shiteeee

occupational health and safety, so doing a small course and trying to get a job entry level and then after a yr will have enough experiences to get a decent paid job fingers crossed. massive out here in construction and mining

Go for it mate but you wont impress anyone on here talking about H&S, fair play to you on trying skimming in Ozz mate but they have done without it since dot so untill they can source and manufacture there own it aint gonna happen, by the way if you want some more Spanish s**t sent out i have loads of it LOL, good luck mate.
