Not Paying up

I did a job a month ago for a loft conversion company for £1400.00 and have only had £500 payment so far.

I gave 2 quotes, 1 for the loft rooms and one for the landing area.

I carried out quote 1 and it was flawless even though the boarding had been totally bodged by the polski's.

The MD of this company keeps saying he has an incomplete job, even though quote 1 is complete and the remaining £900 is outstanding.

I told him the reason I dont want to carry out quote 2 is because a) I dont have the time, b) I havent been paid for quote 1 and c) I dont fancy skimming over the dodgy boardwork carried out by his polish labourers.

I've lost count of the emails, texts voicemails ive left him.

He rareley answers his phone and im getting seriously pi55ed off with this guy now.


Do I go and ripp the plaster off and say that I need it back as you havent paid?


Do I threaten him with legal action?

I really could do with the money.
 
I went round to a company directors house before I went travelling and there was trouble and teh police were called luckily for me I was out of there nice and quick!

Knocking teeth out sounds like a good idea but not worth it if you get caught!

My mate put a full skip on the guys door step right against the door (as he was owed money as well) so he had to use the back door.... inconvenienced him as much as he did everybody else he owed money

i got knocked years ago for quite a bit i did the foremans van tyres the directors tyres and threw a paving slab thru his front window

I dont know where you are mate but there are people everywhere who will get your money for you for a percentage a mate of mine got knocked for £30.000 last year and used an Albanian outfit, very dangerous but very effective.
 
was on site about ten years ago and the head of the labs was a big ruski one of his guys was an old albanian with a big mars bar down his face they had it toe to toe and the old bloke f**k*d him big time
 
on p/board skimming just chuck a bit of bitch on every wall.
Best way with breakin windows is to break a small one every few weeks. Insurance
company stops paying out arter a while. Small one ? = do i go thru insurance
and pay the £100 excess or..... ;)
 
well if someone had a blue KA then with a reg of xyz 456j. then a car possibly of the same reg would get caught speeding :-) a few times

There's nothing worse than some one who thinks he can get away from not paying some one. Hope you get it sorted soon mate.
