Is there anything to stick trowel handle to shank tried unbolting handle and thread snapped love to trowel well worn in just want summat to hold it on

Make sure you clean and sand down (at least roughen up/score) both sides, and it'll never come off.
I did exactly the same years ago. I'd use Sticks Like s**t Turbo now.Done it before, araldite

You only had to ask mate, I could have saved you all that scratching.been there mate
tried switching all my trowels to ox handles
stood there in the garage scratching my head why half of them broke
then realised I'm thick

Used it mate it's solid now cheersThat stuffs OK, but not for this.
Too chewy and gummy. It needs to set rigid as the pressure applied to the handle needs to go to the blade.
It will stick well but won't last like araldite, trust me I've tried them.
