Hi we had a doorway filled in with bricks and plastered. However 6 months on it has cracks on both sides of the wall in odd formation. I have put photos on. Any a Dave ice would be appreciated!
The cracks are same angle on bother sides of wall.

should I be worried? like it’s ripping apart!

That’s always going to happen when blocking up a doorway .whether it’s done with bricks that aren’t bonded or even a stud wall . 100% it’s gonna crack . It’s only movement anyway just fill it and sand it , then in a couple of months fill and sand it again and again , and again . You get the point

I blocked my doorways to match reset of construction and no cracks. If its timber and plasterboard but rest of wall is brick blocks it may crack like that at join. Give it a knock. Is it solid or hollow like the rest of wall?
