Skimmed the upstairs of this property over 2 years ago and got a call to qoute living room.

Customer said the builder insisted his super spread was used to do the plastering on their works.

Anywho customer not happy with the shite finish so builder deducted it off bill.

Customer asked me my opinion on it. I said it’s got one coat and is cracked on every joint. Also the fact he didn’t just do all the top bit boggles my mind. He’s left that little bit above doors and failed to blend it in big bumps either side.

And apparently this spreads absolutely flat out on site and doing jobs for builder.

Perhaps not....builder isn't going to admit that he got a Lithuanian he picked up on the war memorial wall to do it for £50 is he?

Looks a lot better if he scratches his head and says he can't understand it.
 
He is reading too much TPF and now is on TPF. Well done algee for spreading the word so fine spreads can still make money.

Like a billiard table I did pull it back reverse screw back plenty of bottom and then stunned my self how good I am that a joke not bragging if you understand pool or snooker you get it

I come from both worlds domestic and site..we can board 3 bed semi detached houses out in 2 days and can also skim mrs jones ceiling and still be polite and tidy basiclly everything that comes with domestic work and my point is my honest review of site spreads and domestic spreads is site spreads would literally piss all over every domestic spread going..its a different animal..ive the right to judge as im comfortable with both and site spreads win hands down:coffe:

Nice one mate. the decent site monkeys I know here would never do domestic job as simply wouldn’t have the time.

They are a different animal as you say and a slowed down boring domestic job wouldn’t appeal to them but fair play if you can make the transition

Im my opinion domestic work takes more consideration all the little things taking sockets off for a perfect finish around them. Same with dropping lights. Being able to skim neat around rads etc

I respect the site monkeys as I know it’s a graft there.

Prefer my domestic work tho and work varies too definitely couldn’t skim

Ye there is more attention to detail etc but a good quality spread should be able to both lurpak..all this talk about site lads just turning up and whacking it on and leaving a shite job is nonsense as u wudnt last 5mins on site and your retention wudnt come bk to u which is 5% in most cases and added up over 3 months is alot of dosh :sisi:
