Paddle for Drywall adhesive

Lads I got a refina 200mm negative spiral paddle but it won’t mix drywall adhesive. Should I have got a positive?

What’s everyone using for quick mixing?

Negative pulls the mix down while positive pulls it up.. I think? We all should use a negative for plaster and drywall. Positive they say it better for cement..edit.. I'm correct. Negative it for plaster pulling the mix down not throwing it out

I use a mixm8 for everything but have used normal downspirals in the past without problem. Why can't you get it to mix addy? Start sloppy and add powder and ignore what BG says about water quantities.

I use 200mm negative for a very quick mix!
Bag and a half in the tall buckets or 3 bags in the old flexi tub
