what are the best paddle mixers to fit an ordinary 13mm drill as the ones i buy from toolstation always seems to leave bits of plastic in the mix from the 40 ltr gorilla bucket theres no burr on the mixer so is it the bucket which i bought from toolstation as well just wondering what everybody uses

The tall white buckets are fine, if your looking for a paddle for an ordinary drill try a mix_m8 they hardly put any strain whatsoever on a drill.

Get the collomix buckets. Fit a bucket and half in and are sturdy as anything. Good strong handle on

Got two new white buckets from Obas iirc. Bloody plastic on the handle just shattered under the weight - repaired it today by fitting a shirt length of Hep2o pipe that was laying about and sorted.
Oh, and MixM8's are ok for a small bucket of stuff but do make a mess.

That's the only prob with the white buckets the handles shatter too easily

Bought a couple of whisks at a car boot last year which fit straight into an- SDS drill, proper quality don't rip the buckets up aint got a clue who makes them though.

I get mine foc from a factory dealing in glue, last around a year each and can get enough in a week to last until I retire lol

Whatever you get make sure it's a negative whisk, so it pulls the plaster down
I bought a couple 110 Makita SDS drills at a boot last year nothing wrong with them £8 each just put them whisks in spot on don't need a negative whisk just put the drill on reverse, not for every one but I don't do much plastering these days so it keeps me going.
