im a builder i have been floating and setting for a few years now but have never had to float out a painted brick room any advice ie bondind/hardwall pva/no pva ideally i need to set over the same day to make any money but i reckon hardwall would take quite a while to go hence really not keen on being there after 4 thanks in advance cheers

Bonding agent and carlite bonding , if its single skin construction got to go down the s&c route

Single or double skin/cavity, ground floor or second, G** or straight (beddy asked me to ask you that one)
Reading between the lines , it sounds like a single skin outhouse type jobby, if so dot insulated plasterboard to the ROUGH brickwork n skim,or go overboard and mf ,vapour barrier, board n skim if there is some damp issues, or just bond and skim , but if your a competent builder you already know the answer and have just come on here for some reassurance.
But i can guarantee you will be more confused at the end of this thread than you were at the start

No need for me to post an answer.......

Welcome to the forum though you will get a lot of different answers... my favourite is wba, eml, bonding then skim....

Hardwall is for high suction backgrounds and bonding is for low suction ie paint and plasterboard...
