I use 10mm beads and dab on to achieve 15mm
Would be risky to apply @ 10mm
Perhaps this is what your guy intends to do. Many do this.
Just work out the bags. Typically 1.1m square to 1 bag of monorex.
I use 10mm beads dabbed out ,as 15mm turns more into 20mm, i would not consider us as "Chancers" but i have seen some nail on 15mm beads which look ****Then you need15mm and 15mm beads.
Chancers often go down the 10mm route. Its cheaper and faster.
Take the beads back get 15mm ring Parex they will raise a written spec for your job

You guys must follow better brick layers then usNo I meant lads using 10mm depth nailed or gripped on not bedded on dabs which clearly gives a few mm build.

that's eased my concerns its 30m2, he asked me to get 28 bags.
Mono matedo you dab you beads on with the mono @keithuk or the pre rend?
The cheaper beads are **** ,we spend a bit more ,as i think it saves time in the long runAnother issue I find with 10s are that they are more flimsy than the a substantial 15 and more prone to bow and take more work to plumb. Problems with nails is they pinch the beads out of shape.
Get a nice rigid straight 15 and Let the bead do the work imo
