Ah, @ keithuk , now you know..Its a form of sound coat. 8mm coat over party walls for sound usualy drylined over top.
Has been know for sand cement to be used insteadof parge
Your right John , sound and air test they need to carry out ,just a coat of render really mate ,well that was when we did it 6 years ago , we only did it a few time as we had the mono to do on the out side
When we use to do it on the party walls as you say ,on large Oap homes ,they stated 13mm thick ,but yes in s/c

We always got day rate on it think soundcoat is 5 ish per bag never took note of meterage feckin shite sticks to everythin some sites made us run a broom over it for a key for dabHi does anyone know how you'd price parge plaster per meter and how much it is per bag ? cheers
