Hi.

Just removed a cupboard in alcove. A bit more than I was hoping was removed from one of the bricks and I can see through to the cavity. Was thinking of just sticking a bit of bonding in, but worried about pushing it through into cavity...I phoned a builder friend of mine who hasn't seen it but reckoned it might be best to put a brick in before patching...but i'm thinking if I try to remove the rest of the brick I might knock it into the cavity and its best just to patch.

What you reckon?

Cheers

if youre unsure get a surveyor in small jobs like this can cost the customer thousands in the future

lol surveyor has already checked large wall directly above it...definitely load bearing just said take it out house will stay up until the chq clears! The hole is 2 bricks down. I'll put some plasterboard over it and patch it.
