pick up

got a renault trafic 2 years old.something about it i just dont like, was looking at a nissan nivara pickup for work, play etc. does anyone else have a pick up for work and if so how do you get on with the practicalities, i.e. ladders, coving, space in the back, cheers in advance.

Whatever you do, do not get a pick-up. Great for towing but that is about it, fu*kin nightmare if you've got a load of tools. Transit all the way.. I have had a l200 for a few years and it's been more of a hindrance than a help...

Get a tranny....but be warned i just coughed up £897 with the vat and labour to have a new fuel pump fitted ouch...

pick ups are very juicy mate.

I've had a pickup for nine years now and wouldn't dream of using it for work on a regular basis, a van is so much more versatile. Bloody good for the fishing tackle though ;D

Had 30 odd bags of primo colour on the back today , straight on the back care of Russ Lord , drove just the same as it was empty , also picked 20 bags of derbyshire spa up from derbyshire (other side of Matlock) up hill an darn dale kid no probs, but it is more for show ;D
