just looked at the add under his aswell, rooms skimmed for 100 quid, i dont know how you domestic lads compete with that,
idd be looking at doing something different away from plastering.

seems to be.
but dont get the mentality of it. if i see someone advertising with 'cheap' prices, id stay well clear, you wouldnt have them in your house id sooner pay more for a quality job. or save up to afford it.
or maybe i lead a sheltered life with not being a domestic plasterer, and this is a common occurrence :-0

I'm fortunate enough that I don't need to compete against that kinda sh!te, if ever anyone says "I can get it done for much less" or whatever I just tell them to get on with it. Word of mouth is king, plus I often pick up jobs from people seeing me working near them - 4 jobs in one (fairly affluent) village at the moment which is great for transporting scaffold etc. :RpS_thumbsup:

Id be gutted if someone nicked that picture and it was mine, i mean id frame that and put it ont wall above fireplace. Wife would love it !!!!!!!

theres some cheeky feckers about,
its happened with me last year , someone swiped some thin coat jobs of my web site, but i didnt relize until a potential client got in touch and said ive seen a colour/job I like on another rendering contractors website[that was also providing a quote] can you have a look at there site, sure I had a look, it turns out it was a job of mine, you couldnt make it up.I got said job in the end anyhow.
I think warrior had some nicked aswell.
imitation the most sincere form of flattery i guess.

Well I tried ringing the c**t but says not possible to connect call so reported it to gumtree instead, it's prob some nob off here pissing about lol.
 
i had some pics nicked a few years ago i walked in a **** shop (sorry shop owned by a pakistani gentleman) and there was ads in the front window as you do then i noticed some of my work in the window under anouther fellas name haha
