More you play with it the worse it gets when hanging for ages - according to my Mrs [emoji1]

No mate bg .mate said s**t pva but we used two different brands of pva this week
Just see how you get on next week if I do use pva I only use bostick ..saying that though there is so many different reasons who knows.

Overworking it never does any good I do fell for it sometimes to be honest

My cousin said he had a day last week like this does happen some times baffles me why or what it is ...think we have all had a s**t mix day though.
@Gorto what brand/make pva s did you use then?

Pva is a massive issue gypbond always if time allows, expensive pva is the way I go hate it when before had it split and that, makes it hard work

How much is gypbond?
Never used it but see it in merchants
It's about 45 quid ish I love the stuff I had some cheap pva once prepped the walls pva was dry put skim on and the pva came back to life I had no choice but to stop and gypbond and re skim costly day that 1 tub will go a long way as well

I've been using a lot of the cementone plasterers stabliser.. It applies really well and is around 30 quid with the vat from Travis
..

Sometimes on reskims if its had wallpaper on and it hasnt been sugar soaped the pva turns slimey on the paste residue and the gear sometimes slides when troweling up

Had that last week! Really pissed me off! Had to let the 1st coat pull right in!

It might be the finish.... try an different shed to buy it from :D I think storage of finish is a big issue in it being a little unstable

It was a b&q one. Never normally buy my pva from there so thought it was that then I got normal one I get . The one in yellow tub from our merchants . Think it's ever build
