make sure its a 110v plug, normally they are yellow, blue i think is 240 and you need the blue trannie, just make sure i could be wrong. looks okay though screwfix do some good cheap ones

if its got the blue plug you can just cut it off and install a 3 pin plug...
that said though, that cable looks like it belongs on a dvd player and the motor looks like it belongs on a scalextric car... so, even without actually trying it out id put money on it being a bag of sh't..
depends what you want it for though..

now that is a much better buy! even if you have to spend 30 quid on deisel and replace the brushes on it, if you get it for 50 quid you got a bargain imo..
