Plasterboard small crack repairs using thistle multifinish or similar

Hi
I have one of these new homes and time to time small cracks, screw pops, door/window hair cracks are appearing and in the kitchen I'm starting to see some picked but joints.
On youtube there are tons of videos but they are all American based product and repair methods.
The only useful UK based video using plaster that I found is this one


I want to use for example, British gypsum multifinish or similar proper plaster widely available in UK.

How to do these small repairs using plaster instead of drywall mud?
