Plastering a chalet

Hi, I am new to this and not sure if i am re posting what i've already wrote but nevermind, If I plaster the inside of a chalet it will just crack (so i've been told) so if I dry line it will it just crack as well? The chalet is in Spain so it will be really hot in the summer and the chalet probables moves with it being wood. Its a little wooden bungalow. If anyone has ever done anything like this before please could you tell me how you have done it.
