Hi All,
just renovating a house out at the moment and just completed 2 arch ways, ripped out old door linings and re-bead, floated, then thin coat arch bead ontop and skim, was just wondering what tools do you guys use for when you are doing the arch curve, i have heard some people use stuff like a plastic bottles, thin piece of plastic, just curious, i just use my trowel wait for it to pick up, then apply a little water and trowel in till i get the desired finish.
whats your opinions?

an arch over a door way is fine with a normal trowel we we say about plastic trowels and plastic strips and what have ya were talking about stair winders and domes areas areas that curve in more than one direction:RpS_thumbup:

just curious to what other methods people used didnt need telling just seeing if anyone else had any of their own ways of doing them. forum = advice. (its not like i've asked how much skim or how much to charge for them or simple questions as in 'how do i price a job up') just was curious seeing if anyone had methods they would of liked to share.
cheers.
