Plastering in a church, curved door ways ???

Been to look at a job in a church, the doorway is the same style as most church windows where they curve into a peak.

They have the old round timber beading and the customer wants them leaving as a 'feature'... They said they want a stop bead putting on up to the edge before it rounds. I thought about putting a plastic stop bead on curved part of the reveal but what can I use for the face side ?? As the plastic stop bead surely won't bend that way ??

Never used plastic stop bead just the plastic corner beads. Any help ??

I think I know what you mean, but any pics?
You may be able to take the stop bead all the way with the use of a heat gun (aren't the plastic stops 4mm?).
Just how much curve have you got to deal with?

Best bet is get one,go down and see if it will go round without kinking.

Are you talking about a Gothic arch ?

I don't have any pics of the one I'm doing but the interior door on this PIC is more or less identical. But its got the old round timber beading around it. I'm thinking of just banging arch angle bead round the curved part and normal angle beads on the sides and telling them to loose the 'feature'

Is it a dropped arch i.e. Do the reveals slope back towards the door frame or are they square i.e. 90 deg to the door frame and staff bead ? Either way it is not that difficult to float up to the staff beads then, either put the quirks in with your float when rubbing up or cut them back with your trowel or a small tool when nearly set then, just slim away and keep the quirks tidy.

You can get plastic flexible beads for curves, if u can get ur hands on them u should try them.
