Plastering Level 3 Funding Now Available

Geason have won a contract with Westminster Kingsway College and they are happy to fund Level 3 Plastering via a 24+ advanced learning loan. The government-backed loan can be used to fund all or part of the cost of study and repayments don’t begin until the learner is earning at least £21,000


The funding for this is drawn down by the individual students applying for a loan which they then payback over a period of time depending on their income levels.

Thats the cost of course, its actually cheaper than the college costs.


The course involves both practical training and theoretical activities and covers the following core units:

• Applying plaster materials to complex internal surfaces
• Fixing dry lining & plasterboard products to interiors
• Building methods & construction technology
• Information, quantities & communication
• Applying plaster materials to complex external surfaces
• Forming screeds from granolithic surfaces
• Preparing & running in-situ moulds
• Producing plaster components
• Positioning & fixing fibrous plaster components.

Takes around 35 weeks to complete

I am awaiting the full course descriptor being sent to me as we only got the direct funding contract last week so still awaiting few bits of info. Will update you when i get it.
