Hi all,if hardwalling onto breeze blocks would a primer be required first to control suction.Would hardwall be the best product to use.Im hoping builder goes for plasterboard compound and plasterboard.
Looked at a retro fit job today for a builder and all the internal walls are breeze blocks from the 80's.Any walls the sparkys made new chasings in caused the original plaster to go all hollow. The plaster that was used I have never seen before. Its snow white(really chalky and lightweight) with a skim finish on top. After the sparkys kangoing the walls are just holding themselves up.You can actually see the separation from the blocks, its ready to fall off with a light tug and this is all over the house.Any idea what the backround plaster is.I took a bit home to show my old man and he hasn't a clue(50 years in the game)
