Plastering sq m prices

Experienced plasterer but have rarely been asked to price up by sq m, but have now on a new build, and was wondering what the rate is on skimming on plasterboard and rendering on block work, just labour? Plymouth area. Cheers

We get £2.50 a meter in Manchester but that's from plastering firms .that's for skimming

Before it kicks off ,best thing is to measure an area. Work out what you'd need to get paid to get what you normally charge plus a bit. Then give the m price or a block price

Why don't you just figure it out on your day rate?

If you don’t know, you shouldn’t be doing it.

£3.50 absolute minimum labour only skimming, depends on render finish I suppose how many coats etc
