Plastering Stilts - Girl Needs Advice!!

Hi All

I need some help! I am a girl, hence why i need help on this topic!! My boyfriend is a plasterer and wants to purchase some Plastering Stilts - I am going to get him some for Xmas but have absolutely no idea what im looking for. I need some advice on what is the best brand to purchase, and what size etc. I dont care how much i spend, he tends to shell out a lot of money for his tools so they need to be a good standard! I need help regarding sizes etc (he is about 6'1" - i dont know if this has any bearing on different heights etc!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated - the main bulk of his work is drylining, plasterboarding (is that the same?!) and plastering (skimming, patching etc) He is doing lots of ceilings at the moment and barn conversions so high ceilings, stairwells etc!

Hi Jeeble,as you can see on the stilts thread the lads rekon the sur-mag stilts are the best ones,avalible from Belmore-tools. ;)
 
they do lots of different sizes you might need to drop a few hints to him too find out, tbh if he's fairly tall he'd prob use the smallest size the most ...........its other trades that use the higher ones

his going to be gutted when he opens it and its not an xbox 360 ;D, by the way thinking off getting the Mrs a new dyson hoover for xmas lads , im i the perfect gent or what 8)
 
Sorry back to the question....
Get him some marshall town skywalker2.00 s
They are the most comfortable stilts and easiest to adust etc etc... if my missus was to by me a new set this is what id really want.
Becuse of his height he may be a bit to tall for them on a lot of ceilings!!!! this would be my concern.
For the best price get them from an irish seller of Ebay dont no there name but they are the cheapest ive seen and have decent feedback so will be ok there.
Dont spend too much though cus hes gonna get u a anal probe and a set of knickers.

But spunky...if she dont get him what he really wants,then he might skip the buying her the probe.
just think of all that pleasure the poor girl will be missing out on!!!!
 
y are sky 2's so bad i have a pair and love um? the other silts look old and G**? am i missin sumit here but the mt2 look thinner and more like feet!

Sorry, are we still talking about the anal probe? Bought my girlfriend a rampant rabbit couple of xmas's ago, but the ungrateful cow complained it was too big!? :o
