plastic strip

What do you think about those dpc plastic strips they fit by chopping a course of bricks away. For me it does not feel right to do this to a building.

dunno mate, on a cavity i wouldnt agree but ive done a couple on a 9" solid, get the course right underneath the headers, 2 course out, 2 course engineerings back... outside only though... dunno who done the inside, bit of cash work years ago...

I see then it's below the header on 9" solid wall. I know they just pack them back up with slate you would think useing an epoxy grout of some sort would be better long term.

still scary though innit... you think the whole things gonna come down on you.... just leave the corners till last... or i did anyway..
