Podging the skim was the easy bit it was mixing up first with a piece of roofing battern that was bitch .

Of course, I forgot about that. "Get the stick and plodger out"...........and if the plodger wasn't in the van you had to whip it like fk with the stick :RpS_scared:

Yeah, but it had to be soft to mix it with beads :RpS_thumbup:

Them young'uns think we're making it up now, I feel a 'Four Yorkshiremen' moment coming on :RpS_laugh:

My old gaffers mixer broke and he got me mixing with a podger. **** that again. Don't know if I was doing it wrong cus I never used a bit of lath first lol

Morning!

We're losing one of our warehouses next month as the lease is up, so we're going to be having a stock sale for everything we don't have room for. I'm putting together a list of what we've got at the moment and planning on doing an emailer for it. I thought I'd give you lot first dibs on what we've got, so when I've got the together I'll stick up a new thread with a link to it. One of the things on the list is some podgers usually on at £25 but they'll be going for £12.

I plan to get the stock sale list uploaded early next week. Other things on there off the top of my head is some surface prep equipment, we have a few mini scaffolds and hop ups, block cutters, some heavy duty mixing tubs...

Good luck trying to sell the Podgers ,maybe get a time machine and go back to the 70's i was i believe they were all the rage back then.:RpS_biggrin:.

Bunch of fecking light weights. Using a stick to get the consistency right and the plodger (as I've always known them) to knock out the lumps is just as quick as using a drill and if you think mixing up a bit of skim like this is hard work feck knows how you get on with using the gear.
