Pool trowels

Does anyone use pool trowels instead of spats is there much difference?

What do u mean like a fresno trowel?

I use them in Spain Spunk on one coat when following old wavy stone walls to stop trowel lines, no other reason.

I just googled pool trowels yeah they are the same as fresno trowels which the only time i have used was when we were doing pattern concrete.
