Porch ceiling

I’m wondering what the best material is to make a lower ceiling outside my back door. Planning on putting a couple of spotlights in.

I was thinking of using moisture board, and plastering with gypsum, but maybe it won’t last too long since it’s technically outside.

Another option I was thinking about was aquapanel, but it’s a bit expensive.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Tbh I’ve only rendered them but if it were me on a budget I’d make a nice job of the screw holes slightly counter sunk keep youre edges nice and tight and fill and sand them with an exterior filler
Ive seen it done on site no expert mate but it may fit youre means (y)

I’d probably use cement board too I don’t know if aqua panel will hold up in a few years again I’m no expert

Hmm, I’m going to render that wall at the back. It’s an old solid brick wall, with a sort of thick coating on it, which you can see the outlines of the bricks through.

I could render that and the cement board on the ceiling at the same time, but the brick wall seems a bit uneven for the fancy thin coat render systems. Maybe there’s a product I could use to flatten the wall off first?

If you want a thin coat system build out the block work with sand cement/ocr and use a base coat on the board whichever manufacturer you use the all differ
