Chap just rung me from a company based in chesterfield looking for a plasterer doing kitchens, bathrooms & extensions, said he got a run of at least 4 weeks work....anyone interested pm me and I'll pass the number on to you.

To be honest pal, wouldn't do you any harm to cancel/pass on your current jobs on to another pladtere aka Vince and give them a punt...

Worked for over 10yrs previously for a kitchen firm excellent contact I found, onlt packed them in as i gad to wind things down due to health woes and couldn't commit to schedules etc.

Yeah fair play, I wouldn't mind a bit of long term work but would hate to let people down who are already booked in and I know Vince is booked up too. Think this lad wanted an immediate start which is always hard to do without bombing off a load of people and ruining their day

People who want/expect immediate starts are knob jockys who cudnt organise a shag in a brothel

Mrs smith and Jones only have so many rooms, jobs to gain from...

Learn quickly in this game that you don't owe nobody a favour!!!

First and full most your now a business not a charity...

Very difficult to be ruthless if got good morals but they are the people that succeed normally sadly

Longer you leave it worse it will get pal...

You will become slow, lazy and convince yourself your great.

Jump in with some proper spreads before you get into bad habits and learn how to work into a good fast system....

When gauges become rooms you know your on the right track!!!

Oh and learn how to 1 F*****g coat everything and I mean fooooooookin everything bar artex!!!!

I wouldn't bother with that kitchens and bathrooms are a nightmare, inever touch them. Don't one coat if you have any pride either

I think they are a renovation company so would imagine kitchens and bathroom wouldnt have anything in them dont think anyones after the work any how so he'll have to look elsewhere

Good board work 1 coat
Bad board work dubout & 1 coat

Reskims - some 1 coat or at the worse 2 tight from same mix

Artex - Bonding in with finish 1st coat and multi for 2nd

Ooooooorrrrr even sometimes artex 1 coat with multi & bonding mix heavily applied and topped from same mix!!!

Yeeepppppp....I'll pretty much try and 1 coat fooooookin owt bar the worse of the worse....might even try them on a Friday!!!!!

I wouldn't want to see your work with taht approach your lucky you don't get chased.

Let's get some facts straighened out fela...

A good plasterer can assess and apply accordingly what ever method needed to achieve an a1 finish

Be it 1,2,3 coats

Like wise be it 3,4,,5 blablabla amount of trowels...

Now the real difference is a bad plasterer will f**k up or either doesn't care or even realise there shite irrespective of amount of coats or trowels they apply...

I may make light humour at myself but I assure I have a very good reputation amongst firms, spreads, builders etc.

A dog s**t plasterer that religiously applies 2 coats is still dog s**t...

A good plaster that can access the job and what is needed whilst reducing the effort, workload and greater output my friend is the proper tradesman!!!

All very well chap, but what about Mrs Jones knicker drawer.........

Lol...well it goes without saying a good plasterer never turns his back on a knicker drawer!

Now the best if the best always and I mean always remember to wear over boots and gloves before rummaging!!!
