Any of you fine folk using one like this..

Seen them used on hp12 and ocr to achieve a paintable finish. Wondering if any good on sand and cement

Just got my one back yesterday. Going to give it an other go. Didn't like it. But not going to give up just yet on it. @Rossi46 has one. And @MikeAtthis

i just got one from.direct build... got sand pads. abs float and sponge attachments..

wasnt great on rasping eps

For the money I think they're worth a punt. I've only used mine to sand the decking and garage door, was worth getting just for that, going to try it on some s&c soon as it stops raining

did you find that powerful for sanding decking? found the spin too slow. ended up rasping eps by hand in end

Wasn't too bad, maybe the downward pressure helped

more i pushed on the wall the slower it got...lol... think it could do with a 2 speed

I think they’re best for when you I bar the wall. To I bar it the mortar has gone quite a bit more than you would normally let it go so the power sponge is ideal then.

I’ve got a set of scratch pads for mine but too many have said not to bother. I can see why, it would rip the wall to shreds. Good if mono has over set though I’d imagine.

They are decent, take all the hard work out of sponging up. Time saving on big walls too.

For mono, they are no good.

i use the diamond float pad after the Ibar. gets it mint for bucket coat
