Always used febond blue grit . But I’ve found some bond it yellow grit cheaper . Anyone used it ? And is it just as good ?

I used it on a job recently, fed up of paying bond it prices. Did the job just fine but make sure it gets a good shake up before each use as it seemed to be very jelly like when it sits for a bit

It’s crap mate I used it

Just use unifinish instead , loads better job

Ive used it, was ok on a few ceilings but then used it on a wall and it ran down the wall and was dripping... Had to put plaster boards on the floor to catch the drips.... Bostik green primer is my preference..... Great to skim over..... Only down side is you cant roll it on....

Yes what wrong whith pva and if you whant a bit of grit a coat day before whith a bit of fine sand. Exactly the same as blue grit but cheaper

I used to do that donkeys years ago on s**t surfaces before all these grits were available mate.
