I know firms who are desperate for lads on new build.

Renderers in Cumbria will make a killing soon as not enough men.

I know a few sites who are gonna be desperate soon.

Hope so . I.ve just put prices up on all my own jobs . Get them travel brochures out. Work a month have a month off
 
Same feeling different section of the trade mate , was kind of saying this yesterday on other thread.
Thing I noticed to is bg saying they have been playing catch up with demand for actual plaster since end of last year and boards too ,that alone says it all really, many times on here people say there’s loads of plasterers out there but I don’t think there is enough ,a lot of guys retiring or slowing down and not enough coming out of college since god knows when , was in Loughborough few months ago guy pulled up said do I want site job building there they couldn’t get anyone, am to busy myself to of helped
 
Same with rendering on sites.
I’m in North Yorkshire, getting calls from builders/developers paying good money but I don’t have time and resources to tackle them,I can’t find additional renderers to fulfil existing stuff, let alone new projects.
 
Houses going up left right and centre in my part of the world and selling.
Cheap mortgages, low interest rate,good job security on the whole out there, people living longer etc all adds to the mix.

back again in helmsley in august owls,...and quite right very busy area, i always get offers of work in helmsley and surrounding districts, i am only there for a week on holiday,

Ask one of your little girls to do the maths for you mate.
She'll soon tell you that 10% of fuckall = fuckall. What you need is 100%
