Priming new plaster?

I have just given our plasterboarded kitchen two skim coats of plaster and it appears to be dry, it was finished a week ago. Will it be ready to prime yet or does it need longer to fully dry? Many thanks.........Martin

Just paint it. Thats what they do on site

put a bit of water in youre first coat of paint ...aslong as its all light pink paint away mate

I was told you can buy paint that goes straight on to wet plaster dont know if thats true or not but it was a painter that told me.

yeah, they use it on DIY SOS, apparently it lets the plaster breath so it can still dry out.

you have to at least add 25% water to a mistcoat. s many times peopel just use neat paint and when you come to work on it a few years later you can see its not bonded to the wall!
