What do you guyr recommend for cover up?

As above and i generally ask how they are going to finish them say danish oil for example and ask them to put that on first as if you do somehow get any water or wet plaster on them it is easier to clean off a finished surface.

Stickyshield that make the window film also make one that adheres to oak. Better/easier if you get the beams covered before the tacking and then cut around plaster once done.

We would recommend a low tack tape over the Oak, then Drop Film Masking Tape over the top of this.
