PVA (Clearance)

Hello All
Popped into B&Q this morning for some bits and bobs anyway noticed that they are getting rid of all the Silka super Bond PVA in a clearance sale, its going for £5.60, don't normally use it but have in the past and thought it was ok so got afew tubs, should be nationwide so may be worth a trip, it normally goes for £10

cool, is it any good or is there a reason there getting rid?

ive used some of the cheap magnet pva earlier on this year and it doesnt go even half as far as mickes pva at twice the price so its false economy..

worth having if its nice and concentrated though..

speaking of b&q.. theres some cracking tool bargains at the minute..
i picked up a decent set of chisels for 15 quid - 8mm,12mm,19mm,25mm,38mm in a tool roll...
diamond sharpening block (ideal for the trowel nicks among everything else) - 7.99
theyve got a monster chopsaw in there at the mo, chop and slide does 10 inch skirting or 8x3 roofing timbers (hips etc) - £100 - gotta be a bargain even if its nu-tool (which it isnt, just got a bit of a coars blade on it though, easy change)

B&Q's trade desk phoned me the other day a said that if you use your trade card this weekend you will get further dicounts on things that the card wouldn't usually cover (I think he said power tools,but they don't do 110v so didn't pay attention).

got 2 chop saws already, i couldnt find one of them when i needed it so i went out and bought another. my missis says i do that a lot, does anyone else end up with 2 of everything.

yep! i go into my shed, tear it apart looking for something, can't find it, go and buy one. next day , go to the shed and it'll be right infront of me (laughing at me)
