:D
i used to leave contractor size tubes of super glue in the dash cubby hole in the old transit...
and i got sick of trying to dig 12 pencils, 67p in change, 40 screws, 90 galvos, a few business cards and those little mcdonald stirrers out of the solid mass at the bottom...

dont you love it when your driving along at things fly of the self above you and hit you in the head.
:'( usually the first aid kit ;D

mines kept under the drivers seat...
ended up under the brake pedal once :D

i had a load of plywood left over so i built myself a nice little rack 8-) handy for keeping PVA/primers, tubs of screws tubes of silicone scrim tape etc

pva

i empty it as soon as i get back from a job, no pikee crack fiend is getting his hands on my tools >:(

lol, My van is looking like a tip so might get the boy tomorrow to clean it..lol

i dont have any racking in mine but it normally is quite organised... this weekend was an exception

i just find it so much easier to leave the pva n stuff in the racking as you know exactly wherre it is. its a pain to have to empty the van each night but i have windows in the back and no cages or anything so if people see tools they'll be having em no doubt, the neighbours van got done and he had all his powertools inside it, couldnt see them as it has no windows, not worth the risk tho, has anyone been broken into before?

Caught a lad in the back of my van on a job, he said he would get his dad, my reply was does he want his teeth knocked out as well....little fecker!!

Man I was angry!!!

But other than that no -----> danny is now stroking a wooden chair praying he has not just been jinxed!! <----------

Danny

ive had 2 motorbikes stolen and it makes me sick! pure scum the lot of em, if i caught someone in the back of my van it would tip me over the edge and i dont think id stop

ive had no end of gear nicked off the van over the years, its one of the reasons why i dont like to buy 'makita', 'hilti' or 'dewalt' anymore, i'd sooner use my experience to buy something a bit more obscure that will do the job just as well...tricky sometimes...
i used to be a 'must have the best tools' man, but nowadays, its the man that does the work, the tools just help...
and any old crackhead knows he can sell a makita cordless in 5 minutes flat...
still... that said, ive been offered knock off silverline tools in the past... wot is the f'ckin point? i can buy em brand new from the local cheapie shop for under a fiver!!
